What Is Psychosocial Rehabilitation?
Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) is an evidence-based approach to mental health care that helps individuals living with serious mental illness build the practical, social, and daily-living skills they need to thrive. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, PSR centers on the whole person, supporting independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in community life.
Through structured programming and compassionate support, individuals develop the tools to manage daily responsibilities, strengthen relationships, and pursue personal goals while empowering them to lead fuller, more connected lives.
